Spring into a smoother commute! The following changes will kick off on Monday, April 29, 2024, ensuring our services align with your needs. We are adjusting many running times to respond to increased traffic conditions. Evening service across all light rail lines will follow a uniform schedule after 8:30 p.m. daily. Be sure to check the updated schedules before you head out.
Light Rail Lines and Replacement Bus Routes:
Blue Line and Route 201 Replacement:
The last southbound trip will end at Paseo de San Antonio. Bus Route 201 will serve the remaining part of the Blue Line from Santa Clara to Santa Teresa, leaving 2nd & Santa Clara at 12:45 a.m. daily. Route 203 will provide service from Civic Center to Alum Rock via Baypointe. Two northbound trips will depart from Civic Center daily at 12:14 a.m. and 12:57 a.m., meeting the last two northbound Blue Line trains at Civic Center.
Green Line and Route 202 Replacement:
The last southbound trip will end at Paseo de San Antonio. Bus Route 202 will serve the remaining part of the Green Line from Santa Clara to Winchester, leaving 2nd & Santa Clara at 12:19 a.m. daily.
Orange Line, Route 200, and Route 203 Replacement:
The last eastbound Orange Line trip will leave Mountain View at 10:55 p.m., and the last westbound trip will arrive at Mountain View at 10:31 p.m. Later westbound trip will still operate between Alum Rock and Baypointe. For later service:
- Route 200 will operate between Baypointe and Mountain View, starting at Baypointe Station instead of Milpitas BART. There will be trips leaving Baypointe daily at 10:34 p.m., 11:36 p.m., and 12:39 a.m.
- Route 203 will operate late night eastbound Orange Line trips between Baypointe and Alum Rock.
Bus Route 21: Consolidating stops at Showers & El Camino timepoint into one-stop without schedule changes.
Other Service Changes: Bus Routes 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 40, 42, 44, 47, 55, 56, 57, 59, 60, 61, 64A, 64B, 66, 68, 70, 71, 72, 73, 84, 85, 86, 87, 522, 523, 568 have their schedules adjusted to reflect changes in traffic conditions, signal delays, passenger volume, and to better coordinate with the new light rail schedule.
