Get ready for VTA’s annual Stuff the Bus event! Once again, we’re teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and Christmas in the Park to bring smiles to children across our community. Together, we’ll fill VTA buses with brand-new, unwrapped toys, delivering joy to those who need it most. 

On Saturday, December 14, head down to Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park, 1 Paseo de San Antonio, in downtown San Jose from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to join in the fun. Our holiday-themed bus will be there, decked out in seasonal splendor, ready to collect your generous donations. The dedicated Marines will be on hand to assist, making it easy to drop off your toys as you drive through. Remember—every bit helps make spirits bright! 

We’re aiming to fill at least two buses with toys and holiday magic. After the event, the toys will be whisked away to the Marine Corps warehouse, where they’ll be sorted and distributed to bring happiness to children throughout the area. To ensure every child has a safe and joyful holiday, please remember to donate new, unwrapped toys, books, and stocking stuffers for children from newborns to teens. While we love plush toys, they’re not on this year’s list due to sanitary reasons.
