VTA is pleased to announce that the contract negotiations with American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 101 have concluded with a tentative three-year successor agreement reached on Thursday, July 18, 2019. AFSCME membership ratification of the negotiated agreement is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

Subject to ratification of the agreement by AFSCME members, VTA staff will be making a recommendation for Board approval of the agreement at the VTA Board meeting on August 1, 2019.
