Every year, VTA partners with the U.S. Marine Corps and San Jose's Christmas in the Park to help collect toys for the Toys for Tots charity. We aim to collect so many great presents that we can fill multiple VTA buses, hopefully giving Santa's sleigh a run for its money.

In 2019, we packed an entire bus with a range of wonderful gifts, including 10 bicycles and more than 30 scooters. Car clubs stopped by with their hot rods, and bike clubs also took the time to bring by gifts.

Especially during such a challenging year, we are hoping we can do even more to make the holidays special for kids who deserve a little magic. If you are planning to help us help others this year, we are looking for appropriate new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 0-14+. Please avoid bringing plush toys for sanitary reasons...sorry, teddy!

Due to the relocation of Christmas in the Park due to COVID precautions, Stuff the Bus will take place at San Jose History Park (635 Phelan Ave.), on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please stop by to safely drop off your donated gifts and we will make sure to safely STUFF THE BUS with happy holiday memories for kids in need!
