It's a battle of NorCal vs. SoCal at Monday night's football game on November 15, where the San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi's Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:15 p.m. As always, event goers are encouraged to take public transit.
Expect crowded trains on your way to the Stadium as both commuters and game-goers will be riding during peak commute hours. In addition to special event service frequency supplementing the regular weekday schedule prior to the game, two special trips will run from Santa Teresa to Levi's Stadium. These trains will not stop at Baypointe.
Post-game service will run up to one hour after the game ends. We encourage customers to make their way to their return stop location as soon as possible. The Lick Mill and Old Ironsides Stations will be closed for 60 minutes after the end of the game, so boarding will be at the Great America light rail station only.
For riders connecting to BART, their last Richmond-bound train departs from Milpitas Station at 11:54 p.m. Those connecting to Caltrain can catch their last northbound train from Mountain View Station at 11:33 p.m.
If you plan to drive to the Milpitas Transit Center and take light rail to the game, we recommend paying in advance for parking permits online or on your smartphone with the Passport app (for daily permits only). The Passport app is available on the App store and Google Play store. This will help you avoid long lines at the parking kiosks. You can find more info on parking at Silicon Valley BART stations here.
Be sure to download the Clipper mobile app for easy fare payment. The app is available on the App store or Google Play store. This will make paying for your trip on light rail or bus seamless. Tickets already purchased on the EZfare app expire on December 31, 2021.
