From the age of 6, VTA Bus Operator Danny Quintana knew he wanted to drive a bus. He grew up in San Francisco and began his love for photography also at the age of 6.
An eight-year VTA veteran, Quintana draws his inspiration from “life” itself and the photos he shoots depend on the mood he is in. When asked to tell a little bit about himself, he simply says, “I’m different.”
On a typical day, Quintana can be found chatting with his VTA friends. He is known as very friendly and always happy; an adoring single father to two daughters and a son. His home is filled with original works or art, including much of his own photography. He also has several pieces featuring the artist Prince, of whom he is a huge fan.
Quintana considers himself a “street artist,” and his North Division supervisor, Shannon Arms, is proud to display some of his art in her office as well.
You just never know what hidden talents may lie with the person behind the wheel!
