Why

This closure is necessary to accommodate the construction of a new, extended southbound off-ramp from US 101 to State Route 25.

Detour
  • Alternate route: Drivers should use Thomas Road to Luchessa Avenue, then Monterey Road to access US 101 or SR 25
  • For Gavilan College commuters: Take Monterey Road to Luchessa Avenue, then Thomas Road to Santa Teresa Boulevard.
Community Impacts
  • Traffic control personnel and detour signage will be in place throughout the construction zone.
  • Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted signage and drive with caution through the area.
