VTA will be installing foundations for future overhead catenary system (OCS) poles just south of the Capitol Ave. and Mabury Rd. grade crossing. VTA will also be replacing an existing lighting and signal pole foundation south of Capitol Ave. and Gay Ave. grade crossing. The upcoming work will impact light rail stations between Hostetter Station and Alum Rock Station on the Orange Line. A bus bridge will be in place to ensure that passengers can still reach their destinations.
